Swimmming Instructors

Liz van Welie Swim School are on the hunt for Instructors – someone who can make being in the water and learning to swim fun for our littlest customers – who wouldn’t get a kick out of introducing someone to the water for the very first time and teaching them a lifelong skill?
This position is great for a student undertaking tertiary study, someone re-entering the workforce, or maybe even someone close to or in retirement wanting to keep busy.
It goes without saying that you’ll have a can-do attitude, be a great communicator and are committed to making a difference in people’s lives, sharing your knowledge to help improve water safety. Our team ranges in age and experience, but all agree that teaching learn to swim is a fun and rewarding role.
Full training is provided, and while qualifications and or swimming experience will be a bonus it is not necessary – we’re looking for fun, engaging individuals who understand the commitment needed to help people learn.
Successful applicants must be available for training, and be able to complete a minimum of 20 hours shadowing swim teaching in the pool, along with further training and development.
