Our Preschool lessons are in two stages:
Stage 1 – In the water development with parent or caregiver participation
Stage 2 – Independent water confidence with instructor, from 3 years of age minimum.
Preschool lessons have a focus on developing coordination, balance and physical development for all ages and stages from 3 months through to 5 years. Our programme focuses on pedagogical principals so children are developing and learning for their correct age and stage of development.
Age: 3 months – 5 years
Class size: With a parent in the pool: 7, Without a parent in the pool: 4
When: 30 minute classes, offered Monday – Friday 9.15 am – 2.30pm and Saturday/Sunday 8am-4pm

Free assessment available for 3 years and over for children who are water confident – happy to submerge, float front and back with assistance, and have the emotional maturity to be in the pool safely without a parent.
